As a CAD Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Producing
  CAD drawings
  and models from design briefs and specifications
• Updating and maintaining
  drawings
  throughout the
  project lifecycle
  .
• Liaising with
  engineers
  ,
  project managers
  and, where required,
  customers
  .
• Supporting the engineering team with
  technical documentation
  ,
  layouts
  and
  schematics
  .
• Ensuring all designs comply with relevant
  standards
  ,
  regulations
  and internal
  quality
  procedures.

As a CAD Technician, your experience will include:

• Proven experience in a
  CAD Technician
  ideally within an
  Engineering
  or
  Manufacturing
  environment.
• Proficiency with
  AutoCAD
  or
  Inventor
  .
• Joinery
  background is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret
  technical drawings
  , specifications and schematics
• An
  HNC / HND
  or similar
  Engineering
  -related qualification would be advantageous but is not essential if you have strong relevant experience
