Who we are seekingWe are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious graduate to join our Production & Operational Excellence engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to develop and take on responsibility from day one.
In this role, you will work closely with production engineering, quality and design teams with supportive colleagues. You will receive structured training and a clear development pathway. You will gain hands on experience alongside your mentor, building confidence and understanding how everything fits together.
Example Responsibilities Include- Understanding KPIs, performance metrics and design process flow
- Familiarisation with design tools, systems, quality expectations and documentation
- Lean manufacturing fundamentals
- Develop a cross‑functional understanding and project delivery
- Responsibility for specific design/process and improvement tasks
- Contact with key suppliers
- Delivery of independent projects
- Supporting new processing, manufacturing techniques and new technologies
- Formal reviews and development progression planning
- Min 2:2 B Eng (Hons) or M Eng in Marine Engineering
- CAD experience (NX or Solidworks)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
