Design Engineer / CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer based in Dorset.
The successful Design Engineer / CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer shall be designing and developing bespoke electromechanical / automated components and machinery for projects within engineering, automotive, packaging machinery, and more.
The Design Engineer / CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer will have proven experience using Solid Works to design mechanical engineering products / solutions.

- Designing and developing bespoke electromechanical / automated components and machinery for projects within engineering, automotive, packaging machinery, and more.
- Creating detailed CAD models and schematics, performing engineering calculations, and supporting testing, commissioning, and integration within complex projects.
- Perform mechanical engineering calculations, simulations, and system checks to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.
- Liaise with various engineering department to integrate bespoke electromechanical automated systems into overall project designs.
- Site based in Dorset
- Experience as Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, CAD Technician, Design Technician, or similar within mechanical engineering / manufacturing.
- Proficiency in 3D design software such as Solid Works
- Mechanical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, including fluid dynamics, mechanical systems, and component integration.
- Site based daily in Dorset
