The RoleAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students aged 5-18 years old. The school caters to a wide spectrum of additional needs, including:
- Communication & Interaction:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties - Cognition & Learning:
Dyslexia, dyspraxia - Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH): ADHD, emotional regulation challenges
- Sensory/Physical Needs:
Visual/hearing impairments, processing disorders, epilepsy

Who We Are Looking For- SEN / SEMH based experience in or out of an educational setting
- Able to collaborate with teachers and other support staff
- Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies
- Able to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and safely
- Full time, part time and flexible availability applicants will be considered for this role
- Monday - Friday
- Term Time Only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
