Midday Supervisory Assistants – TEACH Poole Multi‑Academy Trust

Position available at the TEACH Poole Multi‑Academy Trust (Dorset Council). Two vacancies: one at Canford Heath Infant School and one at Ad Astra Infant School.

Term time only – permanent – start date January 2026.

Hours:

7.5 h per week (Monday‑Friday, 11:45 am‑1:15 pm) for Canford Heath; 6.25 h per week (Monday‑Friday, 11:55 am‑1:10 pm) for Ad Astra. Salary:
Grade C (point 3‑4) £24,796‑25,185 pro‑rate; actual pay £4,173.83‑4,239.30 and £3,478.19‑3,532.75 respectively.

Key responsibilities:

• Organise and develop safe, purposeful and creative play during the lunchtime break.
• Support positive behaviour and enrich pupils’ learning.
• May supervise children in the school hall while they eat lunch.
• Help prepare for and clear up the hall at lunchtimes.

Requirements and qualifications:

• Experience in childcare/early years preferred but not essential.
• First Aid qualification an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, energy, enthusiasm and can‑do attitude.
• Resilience, stamina and willingness to go above and beyond.
