Estimator; Passive Fire Protection

Position: Estimator (Passive Fire Protection)
An established and growing passive fire protection specialist is looking to appoint an experienced Passive Fire Estimator to support a strong and consistent pipeline of work across the South of England.

This is a predominantly desktop-based estimating role, ideal for someone who understands passive fire works (including fire doors and fire stopping) and is confident pricing projects using SORs and One Trace.

The role

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate and compliant estimates across a range of passive fire protection works, including installations, remedials and surveys. Enquiries are steady, and the role is focused on pricing rather than heavy site involvement.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing detailed estimates for passive fire protection projects

* Pricing works primarily via SORs using One Trace

* Reviewing incoming enquiries and tender documentation

* Liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive submissions

* Occasional site visits or surveys where required (not a core part of the role)

About you

* Proven experience as a Passive Fire Protection Estimator

* Strong working knowledge of passive fire systems (fire stopping, fire doors, compartmentation, etc.)

* Confident using One Trace for pricing and SOR-based estimating

* Comfortable working independently with minimal training or supervision

* Ideally based in the South of England (Dorset / Hampshire / surrounding areas), though other locations may be considered for the right person
