As a Legacy Administration Assistant, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:
- To analyse process and post data in an accurate and timely manner
- To perform general administrative tasks such as distributing post, filing and photocopying
- To handle and post sensitive personal data relating to supporters, their families and others
- To scan all incoming mail and documents onto the correct case in First Class, our legacy administration system, in a timely and accurate manner
- To process and allocate all legacy income accurately
- To provide telephone cover for the legacy department as required
- To maintain a good understanding of all tasks undertaken in your section
- To engage with other areas within the RNLI to assist with the promotion of Legacy understanding within the organisation and the promotion of legacy giving among supporters and the general public
- To become involved in other ad hoc tasks as required
This role supports the rest of the Legacies team, the case handlers and managers and is vital to ensuring the workflow of the department. Attention to detail and accuracy is of paramount importance in recording our benefactor's details on First Class, our legacy administration system.
Qualifications- Strong data input skills
- Demonstrable experience in an office environment, the ability to make effective use of Microsoft Excel and Word and experience of using a relationship database containing sensitive personal data would be desirable
- Financial background would be desirable

Salary: £24,242 - £28,520 per annum (dependent on experience)
