About the Role:

SEARCH is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join a dynamic civil operations team. This is a temporary position where you will be responsible for high-quality shuttering and formwork carpentry within a civil engineering environment. The role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct, erect, and dismantle timber and metal shuttering systems for concrete structures.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Work collaboratively within a team to meet project deadlines.
Adhere to site safety regulations and best practices at all times.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter or Joiner within civil engineering.
Valid EUSR NG Person (National Grid) card for Substations.
Manual Handling training.
Confined Space Training (Medium Risk).
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Own tools and PPE.

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience on energy or infrastructure projects.
Additional relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, CPCS).
