Registered Manager – Learning Disabilities (Children’s Residential) | Brand New Home

£45,000 per annum
Full-time | Permanent

We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to open and lead a brand new solo-occupancy Learning Disabilities (LD) children’s residential home in Beddau, Bridgend. This is a rare opportunity to shape a service from the ground up, delivering highly individualised, person-centred care in a therapeutic environment.

Applications are welcomed from experienced Adult Learning Disabilities Managers who are looking to transition into children’s residential care. Full support will be provided to complete the required children’s qualifications and CIW registration.

The Role – Registered Manager

As Registered Manager, you will:

* Register and manage a brand new solo-occupancy LD children’s home

* Lead, recruit and develop a specialist residential care team

* Ensure full compliance with CIW regulations, safeguarding and quality standards

* Deliver high-quality, outcome-focused, person-centred care

* Oversee care planning, staffing, rotas, budgets, audits and quality assurance

* Work closely with a supportive and visible senior management team

* Embed a positive, therapeutic culture from day one

Who We’re Looking For

* Experience as a Registered Manager, Home Manager or Deputy Manager

* Adult Learning Disabilities management experience welcomed

* Willingness to complete or progress children’s residential qualifications

* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory frameworks and compliance

* Passion for developing a new service and achieving outstanding outcomes for young people

* Confident, values-led leader with a hands-on management style
