Overview

One part-time Scheme Support Officer (24hrs) in a Supported Accommodation scheme in Pontypridd. The working pattern can vary between days, sleep-ins and weekend/bank holiday availability.

About the role

This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our Supported accommodation service, Castle House Project, Pontypridd. Working alongside the Scheme Manager, we have a team of Scheme Support Officers & Project Workers, providing 24/7 Support to our diverse group of customers.

Working in a team, you will provide support to homeless individuals over the age of 18, focusing on offenders and those with substance & alcohol misuse issues. An adaptive approach is required, as the role involves supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours. The mission is to offer housing related support, and equip the individuals with the skills they need to transition into independent living.

  • Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.
  • For this role it is essential to hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle.

  • A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player

Pay and Pensions
  • £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
  • Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift

    Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or, Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.
