Overview

The Learner Development Service is looking to welcome a new member to its student‑focused team at the University of South Wales. The Service comprises Learner Development Specialists and Specialist Study Skills Tutors who work in partnership with other Professional Services such as Library, Careers, Disability Services, Faculty and HR.

Based in Pontypridd, the Business Support Officer will play a pivotal role in support, data and reporting, and student‑facing service delivery.

This is a part‑time, fixed‑term position for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Learner Development Service.
  • Collect, analyse and report on data related to service delivery.
  • Deliver student‑facing support and peer assistance within the team.

Employment Details

If selected, the successful candidate will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited (PSS Ltd), a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales. PSS Ltd provides services to the University and Colleges.
