FLT Driver

RSW are seeking a diligent and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their client in the Pontypool area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and comfortable working in chilled and cold food environment.

Work Hours

33hrs Friday to Sunday 6am to 6pm £15.64

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from lorries and containers efficiently and safely.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
• Conduct routine equipment repairs as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
• Utilise basic maths skills for inventory counts and stock management.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Operate forklifts safely, following all operational guidelines and safety measures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse and food environment setting is essential
• Valid Counterbalance RTITB
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude towards health and safety in the workplace.
