JDR Recruitment are currently looking for reliable and hard-working Production Operators to join our client's busy manufacturing team based in Pontypool. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term, full-time work with the potential to become permanent.

As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day manufacturing process, supporting the production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating production machinery and equipment safely
• Assisting with the assembly and finishing of manufactured products
• Loading and unloading materials
• General labouring duties within the production and workshop areas
• Carrying out basic quality checks
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting other production and site tasks as required

This role is hands-on and physically demanding, requiring good manual handling ability and a strong work ethic.

We're looking for someone who:

• Must have previous labourer experience
• Has experience in a production, manufacturing, or construction environment (preferred but not essential)
• Is reliable, punctual, and has a positive attitude
• Works well as part of a team and can follow instructions
• Takes pride in maintaining a safe and tidy workspace
• Has their own PPE (safety boots, hi-vis, gloves, etc.)
• Has access to transport due to the site location
