Multi Skilled Engineer Nights

We're recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join a well‑established food manufacturing site in Hamilton. This facility has a long heritage in craft bakery and produces a wide range of high‑volume, high‑quality products for major UK retailers and well‑known brands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast‑paced engineering team within a successful and growing organisation.

In this varied and hands‑on role, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving production performance across the site.

• Carrying out daily maintenance on production equipment
• Responding to breakdowns, completing fault‑finding and repairs efficiently
• Identifying root causes and accurately recording work completed through the CMMS
• Delivering planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules
• Ensuring all work meets food safety, health & safety, legal and quality standards
• Supporting continuous improvement and site project work
• Suggesting and implementing improvements to machinery, production lines and processes
• Working closely with operations teams and building strong stakeholder relationships

• Fully qualified Multi‑Skilled Engineer (electrical bias preferred)
• Experience with in FMCG or food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of lean/continuous improvement principles
• Hands‑on, flexible approach with excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• High attention to detail and a strong team ethic
