Senior Accounts Assistant

Overview

My client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional looking to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with strong career development prospects.

• Take ownership of accounting duties to ensure accuracy and efficiency across payroll, payments, reconciliations, and VAT compliance
• Process payroll for over 120 staff
• Manage supplier payments
• Post journals
• Reconcile invoices
• Prepare VAT returns
• Evaluate and approve new supplier accounts
• Integrate new customer sites into the accounting system

• AAT Level 3 qualified (minimum)
• Experience using Sage 50 software
• A meticulous, reliable professional with strong organisational skills
• Thrives in a busy finance team and can handle multiple priorities with precision
