Overview

Abersychan Group Practice serves approximately 10,600 patients and has provided general medical services in the area for over 40 years. The practice is located in Abersychan, on the A4043 between Pontypool and Blaenavon, within easy reach of Newport and the M4 motorway. As of 1 October 2025, the practice has seven GP Partners and is supported by two Salaried GPs, one GP Retainer, one ANP, four Practice Nurses, one HCA, two Phlebotomists, plus a team of Receptionists and Administrators.

The practice participates in a wide range of National & Local Enhanced Services. It is a GP Trainee practice with one GP in training and a Medical Student.
