Inta People are currently representing a Financial Services client based in South Wales who are looking to recruit a reliable and experienced financial accounts administrator. You will have a good general understanding of basic accounting principles whilst having the ability to work alone or within a small finance team. Working closely with the Finance Director your core responsibilities will be to assist with general day-to-day accounts/finance admin duties within a fast paced environment.
We’re looking for candidates who have experience in:
Proven experience within a accounts admin, finance admin or similar role
At least 2+ years experience of working experience within this sector
Experience using Excel
Experience using accounting software tools such as Xero, Quickbooks or Sage
The ability to work under fast paced, pressured environments
Experience with VAT returns and the Microsoft Office package is desirable
Joining this small finance function, you’ll be responsible for:
Working closely with senior management and business directors
Day-to-day accounts administration
Working with accounting software tools such as software Xero, Sage and Quickbooks
Locating and organising purchase invoices and receipts
Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
Running weekly and monthly reports for sales invoicing and self-billing
Ensuring timely payments to affiliates and suppliers
Reconciling payments received from affiliates
Acting as a finance POC for internal and external clients
Managing bank transactions
Assisting with monthly reporting to agreed time frames
Assisting with VAT returns across the group of businesses
Role at a glance:
Accounts/Finance Administrator - Full time – 40hours per week
Bridgend Office based
Starting salary between £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
