Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Technical CI Engineer to join our clients leading manufacturing site within Port Talbot. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on Engineer to take ownership of process improvements across the production facility: balancing office‑based analysis and design with practical, on‑the‑floor engagement.

• Resolve daily process challenges using structured problem‑solving tools (A3, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis, 8D)
• Lead CI projects using Lean / TPS methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and SMED
• Analyze performance data and develop clear KPIs and dashboards to track improvements
• Support strategic initiatives in automation, digitalisation, sustainability and capacity expansion
• Collaborate across departments to improve OEE, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality

• HNC / HND / Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or similar
• Experience in a manufacturing, process engineering or CI role
• Strong working knowledge of Lean, Kaizen or Six Sigma tools
• Skilled in 3D modelling / design software (Solid Edge, AutoCAD or similar)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
