Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Drug Task Force Special Agent
LOCATION: Ada, Oklahoma
STATUS: Full-Time

SALARY: 50k start with a six-month probationary period. Successful completion of probationary period can result in a step increase.

Investigator duties include but are not limited to: investigating violations of state drug laws, conducting arrests, participating in undercover operations, raids, and surveillance. Locating, interviewing, and collecting statements from victims, witnesses and suspects. Collecting evidence at crime scenes, completing applications for search warrants, and performing interrogations as well as assembling charge packets. Agent will work closely with other law enforcement agencies within and outside of Oklahoma and must be willing to serve as a Task Force Officer with various federal agencies.
Minimum RequirementsApplicants must be CLEET full‑time certified with a minimum of three years' full‑time law enforcement experience, with preference given to those with narcotics/investigative experience. Must reside within the geographical boundaries of District 22 or be able to relocate within a reasonable amount of time. This position will rotate as an on‑call investigator and is subject to call‑out 24/7. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
Education and ExperienceU.S. Citizen / Have a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s degree or higher education preferred / Veteran's Preference / No felony convictions or major misdemeanors / No domestic violence convictions / Must be computer proficient.
