The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care and direct nursing care during acute care shifts.
- Coordinate and evaluate care plans for patients on the vascular access team.
- Educate and delegate patient care activities to the interdisciplinary team.
- Apply therapeutic nursing processes and maintain patient environment.
- Current Michigan Nursing License.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- BSN degree preferred; must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
