The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Network Security Administrator to join our team. The Network Security Administrator is responsible for the implementation and safeguarding of our digital ecosystem within our M365 environment. This is a key role in the IT department that will ensure our cloud infrastructure, identity systems, and network configurations are resilient against evolving cyber threats. This person will be integral in bridging the gap between traditional network security and modern cloud-based protection, implementing a Zero Trust framework across the enterprise.
This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
This position is 100% onsite and no hybrid or remote is available at this time.
The Network Security Administrator will also be responsible for:
- Configure and maintain backend support for M365 services, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and One Drive
- Manage user accounts, licenses, and security groups in Entra (formerly Azure AD) and On-Premise Active Directory
- Implement and manage security protocols, including Duo MFA, Conditional Access policies, Intune device management, Defender XDR, and Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot network components (VPN, DHCP, DNS, firewalls)
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for complex M365 application issues and system outages
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, policies, and procedures
- Utilize Power Shell scripting to automate routine tasks, reporting, and user provisioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in network security administration, with at least 2 years focused on a M365/Azure stack
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud computing, software development, help desk ticket processing, and IT applications
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP)
- Excellent communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, negotiation, time management, team building, and adaptability
- Deep understanding of processes (initiation, planning, execution, closing) and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall)
- Expertise in Power Shell for security automation
- U. S. Citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
