  • Weeknight and weekend call are optional
  • Shifts Per Month:
    Full Time - 5 days per week. But we can accommodate part time (partial weeks or some weeks on/some weeks off)
  • Clinic 8a-4:30p
  • Practice Setting:
    Hospital-based cancer center. Outpatient services. Onsite lab, diagnostics, and pharmacy.
  • Reason for Coverage:
    New program growth
  • Call Ratio: 1:5
  • Patient Population for Required Coverage:
    Adult, Geriatric
  • Percentage of Practice:
    Assume 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology
  • Number of Physicians in Practice: 7 across 2 locations
  • APPs Provide Coverage: 10
  • Average Number of Outpatient Per Day: 10-15
  • Average Number of Hospital Patients Per Day: 15

    • Chemotherapy - Intrathecal
    • Chemotherapy - Intracavitary - Intrapleural/Peritoneal
    • FNA/Biopsy
    • Mgmt. of VAD/CV Catheters
    • Administration of Chemotherapy:
      Physician orders. Nurse Administers
  • Duties Required
    • Participation on a Tumor Board
    • Orders Test
    • Orders Images
    • Prescribes
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology - Required
  • Must be comfortable doing malignant hematology (inpatient) - Required
  • BLS - Required
  • MI License - Highly Required - Not accepting non-licensed candidates
