We are seeking a talented Cook to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks that meet the needs of our growing students.

• Prepare and cook a variety of healthy and age-appropriate meals and snacks for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, following USDA MyPlate guidelines and adhering to all state and local health regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Portion control and ensure proper food presentation.
• Order and maintain inventory of food supplies.
• Follow sanitation and safety protocols.
• Accommodate children with dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding meal schedules and any dietary needs.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, fostering a welcoming environment for children.

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a childcare or school cafeteria setting.
• Serv Safe® Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Strong understanding of child nutrition and healthy meal preparation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
