Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, coach, and develop three Maintenance Technicians to build a high-performing, safety-focused maintenance team.
  • Set clear expectations, manage performance, and support skills development and cross‑training.
  • Lead by example with a strong focus on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and manage all facility and equipment maintenance programs, including PM schedules and work order systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.
  • Support and execute machine changeovers and production line setup to meet operational demands.
  • Drive proactive and creative problem‑solving to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices, keeping safety front of mind at all succès.
  • Provide hands‑on technical support as needed, including mechanical repairs, welding, and basic forklift and powered industrial truck maintenance.
  • Apply strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Utilize knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, and three‑phase wiring (preferred) to support troubleshooting and improvements.
  • Oversee all building and facility systems, coordinating internal resources and external contractors as required.
  • Manage shop supplies and spare parts inventory, including forecasting, replenishment, and cost control.
  • Maintain organized maintenance records, documentation, and asset histories.
  • Support or lead capital projects, including equipment installation, upgrades, and facility improvements (preferred).
  • Identify opportunities for reliability improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and safety teams to support plant objectives, including energy efficiency
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required
Position Requirements :
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proven leadership experience in facility and equipment maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, co‑packing, or 3PL environments.
  • High level of mechanical aptitude with demonstrated troubleshooting capability.
  • Welding skills and basic forklift/powered industrial truck mechanical experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead people and functions effectively.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
  • Technical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial controls, and three‑phase electrical systems.
  • Capital project management experience.
  • Experience implementing or managing CMMS and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Proactive and analytical problem solver
  • Strong leadership and team‑building skills
  • Results‑oriented with a focus on reliability and uptime
