About the role
Situated in the receiving warehouse you will represent the interests of the processes within the warehouse and the product care of items.
Job DescriptionLocation: Based at E3, South Elmsall
Rate of pay: £13.10
Shift Pattern: Week 1:
Sunday - Tuesday 06:00-18:00;
Week 2:
Sunday - Wednesday 06:00-18:00.
- Quality check stock thoroughly and ensure it is fit for purpose and has been recorded correctly; report errors if not.
- Process damaged, used and faulty products with focus on recovery.
- Ensure fraudulent items are logged on the system and raise this to the fraud team for investigation.
- Ensure due care and attention is given to detailed inspection and repacking of product.
- Communicate any poor product care handling, packaging, and unsolved problems to the site.
- Conduct audits to identify areas for improvement in processes / product care.
- Maintain departmental paperwork on a day-to-day basis concerning accuracy, reporting, and filing.
- Make objective decisions based on information/facts given.
- High level of attention to detail in all functions of the role.
- Able to work as part of a team or independently.
- Communicate at all levels, gaining respect and credibility.
- Excellent understanding of Google Suite.
- Flexible towards working hours and willing to work additional hours.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ensure due care and attention is given to detailed inspection while servicing a production-based warehouse.
- Recover stock to fulfil customer orders using specialist equipment and cleaning fluids.
- Ensure goods are fit for sale.
- Understanding of commerciality, customer needs and expectations.
- Represent the interest of the Product team at Head Office, deciding that goods delivered are acceptable and within tolerance for stock in all aspects of quality, appearance, packaging, labeling and that they compare to approved samples and documentation.
- Communicate any unsolved problems to the PQC Manager for advisement on action to be taken.
- Have knowledge of all Next product groups and the ability to communicate with authority on these to, and on behalf of all product departments and other internal departments.
