Maintenance Engineer – Next

Location: Elmsall Drive Warehouse – South Elmsall, Pontefract

Salary: £20.69 per hour plus night shift premium (approx. £47,500 per annum)

Shift Pattern: 42‑hour rotation (days, nights, weekends)

Our Maintenance Engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring that a wide range of warehouse machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired to keep operations running smoothly. You will implement management instruction, maintain awareness of Health and Safety, and work within a specialist field.

• Fault‑finding and diagnosis on PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots.
• Analyse and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Conduct inspections and support risk assessment reviews.
• Maintain knowledge of ASI and Profibus systems.

• Level 3 Apprentice trained Electrical Maintenance Engineer with relevant experience.
• Ability to work at heights up to 20 m with appropriate training.
• Excellent communication and PC literacy skills.
• Subject to DBS and credit checks.
