Payroll Administrator –
Location:
Pontefract | Salary: £30,000 |
Hours:
Mon-Fri, 08:00-16:30 (occasional weekends/bank holidays) |
Contract:
Permanent | Onsite
We're looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well‑established food manufacturing organisation. You'll manage weekly and monthly payrolls, handle queries, prepare reports, and ensure all processes are accurate, compliant, and well‑maintained.
Responsibilities- Process weekly and monthly payrolls
- Manage deductions and statutory payments
- Prepare scheduled and ad‑hoc payroll reports
- Handle payroll queries and discrepancies
- Administer pension schemes and maintain records
- Support process improvements and SOP updates
- Proven payroll experience
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communicator; organised and proactive
- Mitrefinch/Advanced experience (desirable)
