Food and Beverage Experience Coordinator
We are seeking a Food and Beverage Experience Coordinator to support the Director of F&B and act as liaison to the Director of Restaurants. The role provides administrative support to the Food & Beverage team and manages day‑to‑day operational responsibilities within the F&B Department. It works closely with conference services and catering to enhance guest satisfaction and productivity.
Job Responsibilities- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
- Arrive to work on time, consistently.
- Arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean, and in good repair.
- Maintain personal grooming and appearance per management standards.
- Attend all required training, safety courses, office and departmental meetings.
- Identify safety hazards, confirm they are corrected, and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.
- Greet members and guests by name whenever possible, showing genuine care and concern.
- Run daily and weekly reports (Product Mix, Reservations, and Special Events Calendar).
- Answer phones, take detailed messages, and route calls appropriately.
- Type correspondence such as introduction letters, dining agreements, appreciation letters, and save‑the‑date invitations.
- Type custom menus for group dinners.
- Attend BEO meetings and record pertinent information to share with the restaurants.
- Enter reservations in the internal reservation program.
- Compile information related to the newsletter content for F&B.
- Document and catalog special events in digital format, and share content with marketing.
- Maintain and update Food & Beverage outlet dining menus.
- Take minutes during staff meetings.
- Proofread all typed work before distribution.
- Complete assigned projects and tasks promptly and accurately.
- Take calls relating to dining reservations, document guest preferences, and create special touches for special occasions.
- Act as liaison between guests and restaurants for dining or special occasions.
- Communicate special requests or changes to the director of F&B and relevant departments.
- Assist with group dining reservations and coordination.
- Assist with wedding dining reservations and create special touches for events.
- Provide additional support as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college education preferred).
- English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing) sufficient for effective interaction with staff.
- Prior experience in restaurant service, secretary or administrative support.
- Good computer skills and customer service background.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
- General knowledge of hotel/resort operations and procedures.
- Basic clerical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reservation programs; typing speed of approximately 50 wpm.
Must be able to work on feet and move around for several hours at a time and maintain performance under busy conditions.
