Production Superintendent

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Production Superintendent role in Ponca City, OK. • Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Lead and supervise production teams, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive productivity, reduce downtime, and improve throughput.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth and consistent operations.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing practices to increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules while maintaining product quality and minimizing waste.
• Support training and development initiatives to grow team capabilities and foster a high-performance culture.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports on production performance, shift summaries, and personnel issues.
• Act as a key liaison between frontline employees and upper management to communicate goals and resolve challenges.

• 3–5+ years of experience in a production leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, results-driven operation.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot issues, and adapt quickly to changing conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a regulated production environment is a plus.
• Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the plant or be willing to relocate within 6 months of employment.
• Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
