Air Systems Components (ASC) - Materials Analyst
Air Systems Components (ASC), a business segment of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Materials Analyst for our Ponca City, OK facility. ASC manufactures high-quality air distribution products, including grilles, registers, and diffusers for leading brands such as TITUS, KRUEGER, T&B, H&C, and RELIABLE. This role is responsible for analyzing inventory and scheduling data, supporting production needs, and ensuring material availability to maintain operational efficiency and meet customer delivery targets.
What You’ll Do:- Analyze inventory and scheduling data to support on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and transportation execution while minimizing cost.
- Generate timely reports and analysis to drive efficiencies in production and material flow.
- Maintain databases and ensure data integrity for inventory control and scheduling decisions.
- Support daily production needs, including inventory planning, scheduling analysis, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure cycle count schedules are created and distributed; perform root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Manage MRB and discrepant material locations to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
- Review and update PFEP material flow, storage locations, and Kanban sizing; collaborate with production, engineering, and warehouse teams.
- Review inventory planning parameters (ABC codes, lot sizes, MOQ) to align with plant objectives.
- Perform safety audits and report unsafe conditions.
- Associate degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of materials management experience in warehouse, purchasing, or logistics; or a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or engineering.
- Strong mechanical and analytical ability with knowledge of statistical techniques and problem resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Internet software, and email.
- Basic knowledge of MRP and ERP systems preferred (Oracle experience a plus).
- Experience in inventory forecasting and scheduling.
- APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP).
