Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and onboarding safety orientations for new employees.
- Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries; prepare reports and support corrective action follow-through.
- Maintain safety documentation, including logs, permits, training records, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the proper use of PPE and monitor adherence to safety protocols throughout the facility.
- Support emergency response planning, drills, and readiness activities.
- Assist with developing and revising safety policies, procedures, and job hazard analyses.
- Promptly report any safety concerns, violations, or equipment hazards to leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR) preferred.
- Prior experience in safety, manufacturing, or industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety practices.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve safety concerns proactively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including occasional nights or weekends, as required.
- Competitive hourly wage. $62,000–$75,000 DOE.
