Pastor with ministry purpose of equipping believers to think biblically, live godly, serve practically, and reach outwardly like Jesus. He is the primary leader of the church; and serves as part of the Elder Board. He has primary ministry responsibilities of preaching/teaching, shepherding, and pastoral care. Expectation of expository preaching as primary method. Prefer he has skill in evangelism and discipleship as ministry strengths.

Prefer that he also has ministry experience with leadership, oversight, and/or participation in multi‑age group ministries, perhaps on a church staff. Ministry experience in lieu of pastoral experience will be considered. Degree from Bible College or Seminary preferred.

Church Governance Elder Board (Pastor is one of the Elders). Elder ruled; responsible for spiritual aspects of ministry including shepherding and church discipline with informal church membership. Deacon Board; responsible for physical aspects of ministry. Independent and autonomous.

Brief History Pioneer Bible Church was founded in 1981 due to a need for a Bible‑centered church in the area committed to expository preaching. The church met in homes and in a commercial building before moving into the present facilities in 1989. The campus includes a main building with sanctuary, fellowship hall, and classrooms; two other buildings with classrooms and office;

adjacent land used to fulfill the ministry goals.

Church Statistics Family units – 34; with 57 adults & 19 children. Annual Budget – $214,000 (no financial indebtedness). Missions giving – 27% of budget.
