Daher is looking to add a talented
** A&P Mechanic
** to our team at our facility in Pompano Beach, Florida. The A&P Mechanic will perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft, engines, and components on TBM and Kodiak aircraft at the Daher Part 145 Service Center.
** Primary

Role and Responsibilities:

*** Able to use FAA-approved data, i.e., IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc., proficiently.
* Performs airframe, power plant, and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
* Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems
* Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems, using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
* Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
* Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
* Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order
* Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
* Presents a clean and neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and general housekeeping
* Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required
* Tows and parks aircraft
* Basic shop upkeep (Sweeping, mopping, cleaning, etc.).
* Lifting/moving items 50lbs.
* Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
* Must be able to climb and work from ladders, work stands, and other heights.
* Must be able to work with one or both hands extended overhead.
* The ability to travel as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned

* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
* Must have
** an FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate.
*** Experience with TBM aircraft, preferred
* Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
* Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
* Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations
* Assist with engine removal / installation
* Assist with aircraft component repair
* Must have own tools.
* Must be eligible to work legally in the US.
* Must have a valid US Driver’s License.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check.
* Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
* Basic computer skills are required.
* Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
** Information related to the position:**++++++++A&P Mechanic, Pompano Beach, Florida - $38 + per hour, must have Turbo Prop exp and a minimum of 3+ years aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
