This is an armed, driving post requiring an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies, access control requirements, and security-related procedures at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and supporting emergency response activities as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems as assigned, documenting observations and reporting irregular conditions through established channels.

+ Complete reports and logs, maintain post orders, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding daily activities and incident follow-up.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

+ Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Have an armed guard card and/or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Have a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associates degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
