Production Assistant

The Production Assistant is responsible for assembling and testing fixtures using various hand tools, including cordless drill motors and other non-powered tools. This role also provides support to the warehouse team as needed, including pulling orders and assisting with general warehouse tasks.

• Assemble components and subassemblies according to specifications.
• Position and align components and parts manually.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain and clean work areas, equipment, and tools.
• Prepare for assembly by reviewing parts lists and gathering necessary materials, tools, and subassemblies.
• Examine connections for proper fit and securely fasten parts and subassemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues; notify supervisor when additional resources or adjustments are required.
• Use equipment and supplies efficiently to meet production goals.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including pulling orders and supporting other operational tasks as needed.

• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Experience or proficiency in soldering low-voltage electrical connections.
• Familiarity with hand tools, cordless drills, and basic assembly equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret parts lists, diagrams, and basic technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure precise assembly and quality standards.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to assemble small components.
• Effective communication skills to report issues, seek guidance, and coordinate with team members.
• Basic problem-solving skills to troubleshoot assembly or equipment issues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or equipment.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
