Blending Operator

Overview

Lightning Labs is a growing manufacturing company with over 50 employees, specializing in the production of premium dietary supplements. We are currently seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our production line team and support our continued growth.

• Operate blending machinery and equipment to combine ingredients and raw materials according to specified formulas and recipes.
• Monitor blending processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and report any issues to maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of production batches, including ingredients used, quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to sample and test blends, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of blending equipment to uphold hygiene and operational standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and product quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, specifically in blending or mixing operations, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions and formulas accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift or move materials as required.

• This position requires standing for extended periods and working in environments with varying temperatures and consistent exposure to powders.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including occasional weekends or overtime, as needed.
