Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance
General - Responsible for learning to:
- Provide superior guest service and positively affect interactions with guests and employees.
- Deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
- Maintain general facilities on property.
- Repair, replace, and maintain gaming table layouts as instructed.
- Diagnose deficiencies in HVAC, alarm systems, and generators and correct them.
- Perform Mid-level to advanced level painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other maintenance projects.
- Assist in creating and following a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Keep casino spotless by disposing of cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
- Assist with casino events, promotional activities, and provide as needed.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and empower others to do the same.
- Work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and locations may change.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by management.
- Clean – Keep all areas clean and pristine.
- Safe – Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Friendly – Use customer courtesy skills to provide superior guest service.
- Fun – Be interactive with internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.
- Two-way radio.
- Maintenance hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Work boat, work trucks, forklift, ladders, scaffolding.
- Cleaning and maintenance chemicals, safety and personal protection equipment.
- Personal computer.
- Obtain and maintain a 1055 Slot/Cardroom/Pari-Mutuel Individual Combo Slot License.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- No tax returns required.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
