Your MissionAt HOERBIGER, our manufacturing teams are the backbone of our success. The Senior Recruiter is a hands‑on hiring partner responsible for full‑cycle, high‑volume recruiting for hourly, skilled trades, technical, and frontline leadership roles across our North American operations.
This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter who understands the realities of plant‑based hiring
—tight labor markets, shift work, speed‑to‑fill, and compliance. You will own execution of the recruiting lifecycle while partnering closely with plant leaders, operations, and People & Culture to ensure disciplined, efficient, and high‑quality hiring aligned with production needs and workforce plans.

How you will make a differenceHigh-Volume, Full-Cycle Hiring
- Manage end‑to‑end recruiting for hourly, skilled trades, and select salaried roles—from intake through offer acceptance
- Partner with plant and operations leaders to define role requirements, shift needs, hiring timelines, and success profiles
- Drive high‑volume sourcing through direct outreach, referrals, local advertising, job boards, hiring events, and approved agencies
- Screen and assess candidates efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Coordinate interviews and pre‑employment steps, and drive timely decisions and offer acceptance
Plant Partnership & Labor Market Advisory
- Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leaders on local labor market conditions, wage competitiveness, and candidate availability
- Challenge unrealistic hiring expectations while keeping production‑critical roles moving forward
- Balance speed, quality, and compliance in fast‑paced manufacturing environments
- Support workforce planning and ramp‑up needs tied to production demands
Process, Compliance & Execution Discipline
- Ensure hiring practices comply with labor laws, union or non‑union requirements, and HOERBIGER policies
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the ATS for hourly and salaried hiring
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, volume, and pipeline health
- Continuously improving recruiting processes to enhance candidate experience and reduce time‑to‑hire
Employer Brand & Talent Pipelines
- Represent HOERBIGER as an employer of choice in manufacturing
- Build sustainable pipelines for high‑turnover, skilled trades, and hard‑to‑fill roles
- Support job fairs, community outreach, technical schools, and vocational partnerships
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recruiting experience
- Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, with significant exposure to hourly and manufacturing hiring
- Proven success managing high‑volume non‑exempt recruitment
- Strong partnership skills with plant managers, supervisors, and operations leaders
- Experience using ATS platforms and recruiting metrics in fast‑paced environments
