John Knox Village of Florida, Inc. is seeking an experienced EMT Supervisor to lead our dedicated EMT team in Pompano Beach. The position offers a full‑time, onsite opportunity to shape emergency care delivery, develop leadership skills, and contribute to a vibrant community of senior residents.

John Knox Village is a not‑for‑profit Life Care Retirement Community providing independent, assisted, and skilled nursing care for over 1,000 senior residents on a 70‑acre campus in Pompano Beach.

What You’ll Do as an EMT Supervisor

As a Full‑Time EMT Supervisor, you will provide daily leadership and motivation, assist with hiring, training, and coaching new staff, set schedules, review timesheets, handle personnel issues, maintain documentation accuracy, coordinate safety practices, respond to routine and urgent calls, and guide patient care decisions.

What You Need to Be Successful

To thrive in this role you need a current EMT certification or paramedic license, a valid driver’s license, at least 7 years of EMS experience, education or training in management or healthcare administration, strong leadership skills, and proficiency with documentation, scheduling, and performance evaluation software.

Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Current EMT Certification or paramedic license, valid Driver's License, and 7+ years of EMS experience
  • Education/training in management, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team‑building skills
  • Familiarity with incident documentation, scheduling, and performance evaluation tools
  • Ability to inspire staff and maintain a culture of safety and excellence
