Construction Site Manager

Overview

Construction Site Manager position overseeing all on-site activities for commercial construction projects. Reports to the Head of Delivery. This is a client-facing role focused on completing projects safely, on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who collaborates with franchise owners, subcontractors, and team members. Extensive travel and on-site work required.

• Project Supervision & Leadership:
  Oversee daily on-site operations, ensure work aligns with project plans, schedules, and safety protocols. Manage and motivate subcontractors and laborers to maintain efficient workflow.
• Quality Control:
  Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure work meets brand and quality standards. Proactively address issues to ensure client satisfaction.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Enforce all safety regulations, company protocols, and policies to maintain a safe on-site environment.
• Communication & Problem-Solving:
  Serve as primary liaison between project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Resolve issues promptly to keep project timelines on track and maintain accurate daily reports and work logs.

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with constructability analysis and identifying potential issues early.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
• Sense of urgency and adaptability to manage fast-paced project timelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
• Valid passport and willingness to travel approximately 90% of the time.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work in noisy environments, lift and carry objects over 35 lbs., and wear required PPE.
