Overview
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Youth Care Worker at Pompano Youth Academy in Pompano Beach, Florida. Located in beautiful Pompano Beach, our workplace offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and vibrant community life—ideal for those who enjoy sunny weather, a relaxed lifestyle, and easy access to South Florida's thriving business and cultural scene.
Pompano Youth Academy is a residential commitment program for at-risk female youth. This program provides youth comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program.
Pay
:
Starting at $19 per hour. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.

What you will do- As a Youth Care Worker
, you will provide 24-hour security and supervision to always ensure the safety of our Youth. - You will monitor and document behaviors, monitor and join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time and assist and mentor the youth while they learn and develop within the program.
Possess a High School Diploma or GED, have one-year experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care position OR 60 hours of college education and possess a Driver’s License.
ScheduleOur Youth Care staff work 12-hour shifts.
