We are partnered with an established South Florida based distribution company within the beauty and personal care space. This opportunity was created to support the accounting team during a temporary leave with a strong intention to convert the right individual to a full time role.

This is an entry level accounting role ideal for someone with one to two years of accounts receivable and accounts payable experience who wants hands on exposure and mentorship. The individual will work closely with a Senior Accountant and the Controller gaining experience across general accounting functions.

COMP: The Controller is known to be very supportive and performance driven and has a history of increasing compensation after the initial ninety day period or at the point of conversion.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Enter invoices, process payments and assist with collections
• Provide basic general ledger support and accounting data entry
• Assist with reconciliations and month end close activities
• Work closely with senior accounting leadership to learn accounting processes
• Support ad hoc accounting and administrative projects as needed

• One to two years of accounting experience with exposure to AR and AP
• Basic understanding of general accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working fully on site
