DELIVERY EXPERT JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, plus access to an insured vehicle for delivery. You should possess customer service skills, navigational skills to read a map, and the ability to locate addresses within the designated delivery area. You must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Drivers also help with inside tasks periodically such as food preparation and cleaning. See General Job Duties for All Team Members for details.
Must be licensed in the US for at least the last 2 years and be able to prove a licensed driving history. You must be an insured driver on the vehicle’s insurance policy. The vehicle must be registered.
Pay$15.50 per hour, plus tips and mileage
GeneralJob Duties for All Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, precise movements.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler areas to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes; fumes from food odors; cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving parts.

Most tasks are performed from a standing position. - Walking:
Short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum; work surfaces height 36"–48". - Sitting:
Paperwork at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Deliveries and ingredients weighing up to 50 pounds; cases up to 72" high. - Carrying:
Large cans (about 3 lb 7 oz); pizza sauce (up to 30 lb); dough trays (about 12 lb per tray). - Pushing:
Move trays on dollies (up to 7.5 pounds of push force). - Climbing:
Infrequently navigate stairs or ladders to perform tasks. - Stooping / bending:
Repetitive bending at the pizza assembly station and front counter. - Crouching / squatting:
Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas. - Reaching:
Continuous up, down, forward; reach above 72" for signage, oven controls, or lifting; reach down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes. - Hand tasks:
Fine eye-hand coordination; frequent use of hands; dough shaping; use of pizza peel and rolling cutter; handling boxes and cans.
