Job SummaryThe Practice Referral Coordinator is responsible for requesting, tracking, documenting and obtaining insurance verification, benefits, authorizations and referrals.
Pay RangeMinimum $19.93 Midpoint $26.42 Maximum $32.88
Experience- Required:
Minimum six (6) months of experience in a medical office/practice setting handling insurance verifications, authorizations and referrals.
- Required:
High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
- Required:
None required. - Preferred:
Knowledge of general medical terminology, insurance eligibility processes and procedure and diagnostic coding.
- Required:
Working knowledge of computers and scanners. Excellent interpersonal skills and professional communication. Ability to work independently and direct own work within stated productivity standards. Excellent analytical and organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC’s mission;
and understand and exceed customer expectations and effectively solve complex patient care and organizational problems. - Preferred:
