Available services include but are not limited to psychotherapy, clinical case management, medication support, peer-to-peer support, psychoeducation, linkage and referral, vocational training and support, socialization activities, and community outreach.
Tri-City is currently hiring to fill one full‑time vacancy for the position of Clinical Therapist II within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP).
Tri‑City’s MCCP operates 24/7 to provide crucial support in mobile crises. As such, the schedule will involve a 3/12 shift pattern, consisting of three twelve‑hour days per workweek and one alternating eight‑hour day every other week. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays. The first one to two months of training will follow a 5‑day‑per‑week, 40‑hour‑per‑week schedule.

: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM - Night Shifts
: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM, or 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Weekend and night shifts will be entitled to shift differential pay of $2.50 per hour on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $3.50 per hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts will be entitled to holiday pay.
Responsibilities- Respond to clients’ crisis calls with or without law enforcement.
- Perform field‑based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedure.
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families.
- Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for necessary services.
- Assist clients and relatives with understanding behavioral health problems and their reaction to them.
- Work on a multidisciplinary team for crisis response.
Education
:
Equivalent to a master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
Experience
:
Two (2) years of experience providing professional counseling/therapy services in a behavioral health setting.
- Possession of valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), to be maintained throughout employment.
- Possession of a valid California Driver’s License, a satisfactory driving record, and a properly registered and insured vehicle, to be maintained throughout employment.
Candidate(s) bilingual in Spanish and proficient in computer skills and electronic health records are preferred.
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, abilities, and skills may be considered qualifying.
Compensation and BenefitsSign‑on Bonus: $2,500 for eligible positions.
Merit Salary Increases: Annually based on performance, budget availability, and supervisor approval.
CalPERS Pension: 2% @ 55 for Classic Members and 2% @ 62 for PEPRA Members; employee contributes 7% for Classic and 7.75% for PEPRA. No Social Security.
Vacation: 80 hours per year, increasing with years of service with a maximum of 240 hours; cash‑out option available.
Sick Leave: Full‑time employees = 88 hours per year with no cap.
