Provide in‑person mental health and/or substance use services under supervision, including assessment, treatment planning, therapy, crisis intervention, and discharge planning. Service delivery occurs individually, in groups, or with families across outpatient, residential, and community settings. The role supports a multidisciplinary team and may require after‑hours coverage.

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop client‑centered treatment plans, monitoring progress with supervisory guidance.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy; participate in discharge planning and crisis response under supervision.
• Engage in individual and group clinical supervision, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Deliver services in outpatient, residential, or community settings as assigned, including after‑hours crisis response when applicable.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR, and agency policy.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain compliance with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) regulations and agency‑required courses.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited graduate school.
• Valid registration from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an AMFT, APCC, or ASW.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Valid California Driver’s License and access to registered and insured transportation.

• Preferred experience treating clients with co‑occurring disorders.
• Consideration for qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records.
• Must complete a background check and Livescan before employment.
