KeySkills/Responsibilities
- Maintain all rooms and public spaces in tip‑top shape—sparkling, shiny, and up to company standards.
- Lead, train, and inspire the engineering squad, scheduling shifts and driving performance.
- Run fire safety inspections and drills, ensuring safety compliance.
- Respond to maintenance requests to boost guest service scores.
- Patrol grounds, clear debris, manage “Lost and Found,” and keep the property presenting itself.
- Access sensitive areas and represent the company with trust and sound judgment daily.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of hotel/related experience, or 2‑year degree with 3+ years, or 4‑year degree with 2+ years.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical).
- Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
- Calm under pressure.
- Financial and arithmetic proficiency.
