Electrical Standards & Integration Engineer

Trident Consulting is seeking an “Electrical Standards & Integration Engineer” for one of our clients in “Pomona, CA”. A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: Electrical Standards & Integration Engineer

Location: Pomona, CA(Hybrid)

Type: W2 Contract

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
• Strong expertise in transmission, distribution, and substation engineering standards
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements including CPUC General Orders and NERC compliance frameworks
• Ability to interpret engineering principles and assess impacts of standards changes (conductor tension, clearances, structural loads)
• Experience leading technology integration and pilot deployments for new equipment and systems
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SPIDA, and AUD/DM
• Experience managing standards development, updates, and change control processes
• Strong understanding of Asset Strategy & Planning (ASP) alignment and asset management principles
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, QA/QC reviews, and operational impact analysis
