In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location.
Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $22.60 Hourly
Maximum: $23.00 Hourly
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant III serves as the primary contact for the College of Podiatric Medicine, providing administrative and operational support to the Office of the Dean. Responsibilities include managing communications, coordinating meetings and records, supporting clinical and adjunct appointments, overseeing affiliation agreements, assisting with CME activities, and coordinating new student onboarding.

Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact with students, staff, faculty, administration and guests of the University. Excellent phone demeanor essential.
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and any other software program required for this position.
- Working knowledge of common office machines (fax, copy machine, telephone system, etc.).
- Flexibility in job assignments to meet departmental priorities and emerging or unplanned initiatives.
- Ability to effectively utilize distance communication technologies (video/web conferencing) to accomplish tasks.
- Committed to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.
- Associate of Arts degree and/or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
- A minimum of 1-3 years experience in administrative/clerical or equivalent experience.

Bachelor’s degree. - Experience:
3 plus years experience.
