Job Summary

Provides Enrollment Management support by processing admissions data, maintaining data integrity, and supplying accurate and timely data to stakeholders.

Skills and Abilities

Individuals must possess knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Skills:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact with administration, faculty, students, staff, and outside contacts.
  • Excellent computer skills required. Experience with Slate preferred.
  • Skill with fax, copy machine, printer, and telephone operation.
Abilities:
  • Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments with accuracy and maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to operate a 10-key calculator.
  • Good time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.
Required Qualifications
Education:
  • Any combination of education, training or experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Experience:
  • Minimum of one to three years of clerical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
  • Experience with Slate preferred.
  • Experience in a University and/or Recruitment/Admissions office setting preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manages the application and PDF data loads from WebAdMIT for designated programs.
  • Coordinates with Supervisor to adjust data load processes, as necessary.
  • Reviews and processes admissions applications.
  • Enters all relative application information into Slate either manually or via data load.
  • Audits records for data integrity, administers matching process, and consolidates records.
  • Imports all application documents via Slate.
  • Ensures document imported is of high quality and legible.
  • Keeps current with all process changes.
  • Assists recruitment, admissions, and college staff with any application questions.
  • Provides front-line support to admissions staff for Slate technical issues and questions.
  • Assists applicants with technical issues regarding their application, such as payment, login, and submission.
  • Monitors and responds to emails sent to EDS. Communicates with applicants as needed regarding their application.
  • Audits application documents for accepted students.
  • Assist with annual university events including Commencement and Convocation.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned. Director of Admissions Operations may assign varied projects as necessary.
Work Schedule
  • Typically Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • May be required to work some evenings and or weekends.
